I’ll be attending both the ICKM and ASIST conferences and am looking forward to bringing to you interesting material particularly from the sessions on knowledge or information organization. Nomenclature has been on my mind a lot these days and I have wondered where Charlotte, NC got its name. See Who is Queen Charlotte?

The ASIST2005 Flickr “badge” has been added to the sidebar section of the blog. If you are bringing your digital camera (or cameraphone) to the Annual Meeting, get yourself a Flickr account (it’s free) and contribute your digitally captured conference moments. Be sure to give any conference photos an “ASIST2005″ tag so that your images appear on the badge and in the collection. A sample of photos from a recent NE Chapter event are currently available for viewing.
